Students take on the role of a custodian, Amazon driver, or teacher, and determine how to transport three classroom items. They first choose three classroom objects to measure, using the most appropriate measuring tool. They are then given three different sized cart options and asked to choose the size that will move the most number of items with the least amount of space leftover. Lastly, students must determine if a second trip with a cart is needed and, if so, identify which size cart they would use for the second trip.
